What To See... Festival Edit

With festival season fast approaching it’s time to pitch up your tents and dig out your glitter face-paint as we prepare to party in the most fashionable style. If you’re undecided on which festival best suits you, we are here to help with the low-down on our top five summer festival picks!


Found – 11th June 2016

For the very best in house, techno and electronic music, Found festival is the place to be this summer! Returning for its fourth and biggest festival edition yet, London’s Brockwell Park will once again, play host to Found as it presents six stages of house, techno, disco and much more! Showcasing the most exciting new artists from London’s electronic community, the event will no doubt prove to be another raging success as the good and the great of the electronic music scene touch down in London!



Field Day – 11/12th June 2016

From indie up-and-comers to underground dance producers and folk musicians, set in East London’s Victoria Park, Field Day has been wowing the festival crowds for the last decade. One of London’s most popular music festivals, Field Day plays host to some of the best alternative acts from around the world. PJ Harvey and James Blake are set to be head-lining this years annual take-over at Victoria Park which boasts a super-exciting line-up including the likes of Four Tet, Floating Points, Yeasayer and Goat, alongside many more well-established and up-and-coming artists.



Glastonbury – 22nd-26th June 2016

Possibly the muddiest of the UK festivals, Glastonbury is back and taking over Somerset once again. Music and mischief will ensue as the cider flows and the festivals vast spectrum of musical acts provide the ultimate in entertainment spectacles. With a line-up ranging from pop and rock to reggae and dub-step alongside metal, folk and techno, Glastonbury quite simply has something for everyone. When you fancy a break from the festivals musical offerings, you will be kept well entertained with an array of activities on offer throughout the day. This years big-name head-liners are Muse, Adele and Coldplay, a slightly more pop-focused trio than we have seen in previous years but you can be sure to expect the festivals usual dose of fun and frolics along with a side of mud!



Bestival – 8th-11th September 2016

One of the later festivals of the season, Bestival takes place on the Isle of Wight and offers the ultimate in vibrant, colourful fun. With yearly themes, fancy dress is a fashion must for festival-goers and this year it’s all about ‘The Future’ it’s time to bestival-up in style and get creative, it’s all about DIY styling and the more sparkle the better so get your glitter pens at the ready! Dance from dusk til’ dawn, enjoy the delights on offer at the festivals yummy street food vans and even get a quickie festival marriage at Bestival’s inflatable church! Head-liners at this years event are The Cure, Major Lazer and Hot Chip. With Craig David, Wolf Alice and Fatboy Slim also joining the party this is sure to be must-have summer ticket!



Outlook – 1st – 4th September 2016

Fancy venturing further afield for some festival fun? Escape to warmer climes and avoid the British festival mudslides at Croatia’s Outlook Festival. If you love to beach and you love to festival then this is the summer ticket that you need in your life! A unique festival setting, Outlook is held just outside the city of Pula in Fort Punta Christo and it’s surrounding beaches. There is a non-stop party vibe at this festival as it also plays host to a number of boat parties featuring artists from the festival, so as night falls you can sail around the Adriatic coast and party on in style! If you are dreaming of summer sun and festival fun, it’s time to pack up your sunscreen and join the party crowd at Outlook festival.
